Meezan Bank Opens First 24/7 Assisted Service Center in Karachi

Meezan Bank has opened its first round-the-clock assisted Service Center at Clifton Bridge in Karachi, introducing a banking model that combines digital self-service with live support from banking professionals.

The new center sits along one of Karachi’s busiest commercial and residential corridors. It serves both individual and business customers with access to banking services beyond standard branch hours.

The center offers 24/7 Virtual Teller assistance, making it the only banking facility in the industry to provide the service through its Cheque and Cash Deposit Machines, according to the bank.

Meezan Bank’s Virtual Teller service uses live audio and video to connect customers with a centrally located teller. Customers can receive real-time guidance and complete eligible transactions that normally require branch assistance.

The service combines self-service technology with direct access to trained banking staff. It aims to speed up transactions, reduce waiting times and minimise paperwork.

The Service Center offers several self-service facilities. These include cash withdrawals and deposits, balance inquiries, mini statements and funds transfers within prescribed limits.

Customers can deposit Meezan Bank cheques and cheques from other banks. They can also encash Meezan Bank cheques and access Virtual Teller support at any time.

On-site staff remain available to help customers with product information, digital banking activation and service requests.

The new center forms part of Meezan Bank’s wider push to make banking more accessible and responsive. The bank has also expanded services such as WhatsApp Banking, Cheque and Cash Deposit Machines, digital account opening, Virtual Teller support and enhanced card and lifestyle privileges.

Through these initiatives, Meezan Bank aims to combine digital convenience with personalised assistance across customers’ everyday banking needs.
