KARACHI: Chery Sales reached a historic milestone after Chery Group surpassed 20 million cumulative vehicle sales worldwide, while becoming the first Chinese automaker to export more than 200,000 vehicles in a single month. Master Auto Engineering (MAE), Chery’s official partner in Pakistan, hailed the achievement as a major step that strengthens the brand’s global reputation and supports its continued expansion in the Pakistani market.

The latest performance highlights Chery’s rapid international growth and reinforces its position among the world’s fastest-growing automotive manufacturers. Master Auto Engineering said the company’s global success provides a strong foundation for introducing advanced mobility solutions and expanding local manufacturing in Pakistan.
More than 100 words into Chery’s growth story, Chery Sales continue to set new benchmarks. In July 2026, the company sold 276,820 vehicles, recording a 23.3% year-on-year increase.
Monthly exports climbed to a record 202,533 vehicles, up 70.1% from a year earlier. The achievement made Chery the first Chinese automaker to export more than 200,000 vehicles in a single month.
The company also posted record new energy vehicle (NEV) sales. It delivered 129,067 NEVs during July, reflecting a 97.5% year-on-year increase.
Between January and July 2026, Chery sold 1.63 million vehicles, while cumulative exports exceeded 1.14 million units, highlighting strong demand across international markets.
Chery Automobile also achieved another milestone by making its debut on the 2026 Fortune Global 500 as an independently listed company. The company entered the prestigious ranking at No. 383.
It also ranked 30th globally in the Fortune Global 500 Return on Equity (ROE) Top 50 with an ROE of 36.5%, securing the highest position among Chinese companies included in the ranking.
In addition, Chery ranked 11th overall and No. 1 in the automotive category in the 2026 Kantar BrandZ Chinese Global Brand Builders Top 50, marking its ninth consecutive appearance on the list.
Master Auto Engineering said these achievements strengthen Chery’s long-term strategy in Pakistan. The company continues to expand local manufacturing, nationwide dealerships, after-sales services, and intelligent mobility solutions.
