Faysal Bank has strengthened its partnership with the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) by contributing to the university’s National Outreach Programme (NOP), reaffirming its commitment to expanding access to quality education for talented students across Pakistan.

A senior delegation from Faysal Bank, led by Chairman Mian Muhammad Younis, visited the LUMS campus. The delegation included Director Hafiz Mohammad Yousaf, President and CEO Yousaf Hussain, and other senior bank officials. During the visit, they also met LUMS Founding Pro Chancellor Syed Babar Ali.

As part of the visit, Faysal Bank presented a cheque to support the National Outreach Programme (NOP), which provides financial assistance to academically talented students from across Pakistan, regardless of their financial background.

The ceremony also marked the unveiling of a commemorative plaque recognising the bank’s contribution through the naming of an auditorium in the university’s Academic Block.

Speaking at the event, Chairman Mian Muhammad Younis said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating opportunities through education. He added that the bank’s transformation into a fully Islamic institution and its support through the Faysal Islami Scholars Programme are guided by the goal of ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent deserving students from pursuing higher education.

Faysal Bank President and CEO Yousaf Hussain said education is one of the most valuable long-term investments an institution can make. He noted that the collaboration with LUMS supports the development of future finance professionals who combine technical expertise with ethical leadership.

LUMS Founding Pro Chancellor Syed Babar Ali thanked Faysal Bank for its continued support, saying investment in education creates opportunities that benefit society for generations and contributes to Pakistan’s long-term development.
