Heartstopper Forever premieres on Netflix on Friday, July 17, bringing the award-winning coming-of-age story of Nick Nelson, Charlie Spring and their friends to an emotional conclusion after three successful seasons.

The feature-length finale continues the relationship between Nick Nelson, played by Kit Connor, and Charlie Spring, portrayed by Joe Locke. Their journey began after Charlie overcame bullying and an unhealthy secret relationship, while Nick came to terms with his bisexual identity.

Throughout the series, the couple navigated first love, coming out, Charlie’s diagnosis of anorexia nervosa and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), his recovery, and the challenges of preparing for adulthood.

The film also follows the stories of the wider friendship group. Tao Xu, played by William Gao, and Elle Argent, portrayed by Yasmin Finney, strengthened their relationship while facing the realities of long-distance romance, Elle’s ambitions at art school and her experiences as a trans woman.

Meanwhile, Tara Jones, played by Corinna Brown, and Darcy Olsson, played by Kizzy Edgell, continued to grow as a couple. Tara confronted anxiety about university, while Darcy embraced a non-binary identity.

Isaac Henderson, portrayed by Tobie Donovan, discovered that he is both asexual and aromantic after questioning why he did not experience romantic or sexual attraction in the same way as his friends. His storyline expanded LGBTQ+ representation within the series.

Teachers Nathan Ajayi, played by Fisayo Akinade, and Youssef Farouk, portrayed by Nima Taleghani, continued their relationship while supporting students through personal and academic challenges.

Charlie’s older sister, Tori Spring, played by Jenny Walser, also began opening up after meeting Michael Holden, portrayed by Darragh Hand.

Netflix has scheduled the global release of Heartstopper Forever for Friday, July 17, with the film becoming available at different local times around the world. Viewers in Pakistan can begin streaming it from 12:00pm PKT.
