Project Elevate: S&P Global Pakistan and TiE Islamabad launch three-year mentorship programme

ISLAMABAD: S&P Global Pakistan has partnered with TiE Islamabad to launch Project Elevate, a three-year mentorship programme that aims to prepare more than 600 young Pakistanis for careers in a rapidly evolving global economy.

Announced on Sunday, the initiative will run through three annual cohorts, with each cohort supporting around 200 participants. The programme targets university students, early-career professionals, aspiring entrepreneurs and freelancers.

Participants will receive one-on-one and group mentoring from experienced professionals at S&P Global and members of the TiE Islamabad network. The programme also includes corporate readiness training, leadership development, career workshops and networking opportunities.

The curriculum will focus on professional communication, workplace skills and leadership while introducing participants to high-growth sectors such as financial services, technology and data analytics.

S&P Global Pakistan Managing Director Mujeeb Zahur described the programme as a long-term investment in Pakistan’s talent.

“Project Elevate is a strategic investment in the people we believe will drive economic value both locally and globally. We are committing our expertise because we truly believe in Pakistan’s talent pipeline and in creating an ecosystem that provides individuals with the platform, mentorship and exposure they deserve,” he said.

Senior Regional People Advisor Atta Rehman said the initiative aims to build confidence alongside technical and professional skills.

“At S&P Global, we believe people are the most powerful driver of organisational success. Project Elevate is designed to give participants not only skills but also visibility, confidence and a professional community that supports them long after the programme ends,” he said.

The organisers said the initiative reflects S&P Global’s broader commitment to developing future leaders by strengthening learning opportunities and expanding access to mentorship and professional development in Pakistan.
